Dunsmuir (Calif.) notched eight points on top of its 34-point lead going into the fourth quarter to win against Happy Camp (Calif.) 42-0.
After taking the lead on a
CJ Palmer touchdown run in the first quarter, the Tigers led 22-0 at the half.
Dunsmuir grew its lead to 34 points entering the fourth quarter. DHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Dayton Pepperdine touchdown pass to
Tommy Stibi.
Palmer and Pepperdine ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Indians. Palmer scored two touchdowns on the ground and Pepperdine added two as well.
The Tigers went into the matchup giving up only 15.7 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Happy Camp, which notched a 48-26 victory over Elk Creek in its previous outing.
