Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Bush Falls Despite Big Games from Jadesyn Hardeman and Kambree Adams

Fort Bend Bush lost against Fort Bend Travis back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fort Bend Bush Broncos fell just short of the Fort Bend Travis Tigers by a score of 63-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Broncos still had to take the loss.

Kambree Adams and Jadesyn Hardeman certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Adams went 8 for 14 on her way to 22 points and five steals, while Hardeman posted 17 points. The dominant performance gave Adams a new career-high in steals.

Fort Bend Travis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mackenzie Teuton led the charge by going 5 of 12 en route to 14 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mitchelle Okwueze, who earned eight points along with nine boards and five steals.

Fort Bend Bush has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season. As for Fort Bend Travis, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

Fort Bend Bush wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-15 loss against Fort Bend Austin on the 31st. As for Fort Bend Travis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-38 win against Fort Bend Dulles on the 31st.
