Football Recap: Whiteville Skates Past South Brunswick with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Whiteville over South Brunswick in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wolfpack blew the Cougars out of the water with a 53-7 final score. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won five matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Despite the loss, South Brunswick still got an impressive performance from Amerius Revels, who rushed for 103 yards, and also caught one TD. Revels' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.

The win made it two in a row for Whiteville and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.5 points over those games. As for South Brunswick, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.
