Brett Ludeman and Gabe Meshesha provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Lynnwood. The connection was good for 76 yards, the longest such play in 4A Wesco - South this season.
Kamiak was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to second in the league. The Knights defeated the Royals 35-14 earlier in the week.
Kamiak's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ludeman threw for 88 and one touchdown and Meshesha had 76 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Hall chipped in 194 yards. Hall helped Kamiak's passing attack out by catching two balls for 13 yards.
Kamiak's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ludeman has thrown for 643 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Meshesha has 12 catches for 217 yards. Hall leads the league in rushing with 590 yards.
A big matchup in 4A Wesco - South this week will be when Daniel Mack's team takes on Jackson. At the moment, the Knights are in second, while the Timberwolves are in third.
Mariner moved up to 67 from 137 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Marauders climbed the ranks as a result of a 36-7 win over Cascade.
