Hutsonville/Palestine will square off against Richland County at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hutsonville/Palestine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6  runs per game  this season.
Richland County will be up against a hot Hutsonville/Palestine  squad: the  team just extended their winning streak to three. The Tigers never let Martinsville get on the board and left with  an   8-0  victory  on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Hayden Monan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Monan was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  double,  and one  RBI. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Ayla Cook and  Brynn Griffin did most of the damage at the plate:  Cook  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run, while  Griffin  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Gracie Alumbaugh, who  earned two  runs and two  stolen bases.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Richland County's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They fell just short of Robinson by a score of  2-1. The  contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Richland County's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
Tuesday's   matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hutsonville/Palestine hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .371. However, it's not like Richland County struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
