After a string of ten wins, The Xavier Hawks''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 28-13 to Lodi. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Xavier was blown out by Lodi in the second.
Despite the loss, Xavier still got an impressive performance from Reid Hietpas, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Lodi, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Xavier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lodi will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Baldwin-Woodville. Baldwin-Woodville will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
