On Thursday, Oxnard take on Quartz Hill at Quartz Hill at 4:00 PM. Quartz Hill will be strutting in after a win while Oxnard will be stumbling in from a loss.
Oxnard had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 14-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Ranch.
Meanwhile, Quartz Hill took care of business in their home opener. They strolled past Rancho Verde with points to spare last Thursday, taking the game 18-0.
Oxnard's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Quartz Hill's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Oxnard would reverse both their bad luck and Quartz Hill's good luck. We'll see if Oxnard manages to pull off that tough task or if Quartz Hill keeps their momentum going instead.
