McCollum had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They really took it to the Southwest Legacy Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-43 victory. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Southwest Legacy still got an impressive performance from Garnelle Zor, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. That was a full 58.1% of Southwest Legacy's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Emerie Sanchez was another key player, putting up two points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

McCollum pushed their record up to 30-3 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Southwest Legacy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season.

Coincidentally, McCollum and Southwest Legacy will both be playing Southwest the next time they take the court. Southwest Legacy will host Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while McCollum will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
