Meanwhile, West Texas' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunray. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Texas in their matchups with Sunray: they've now lost three in a row.
Sanford-Fritch has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for West Texas, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
