While losing is never fun, Doral Academy Red Rock can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while The Meadows School is ranked 25th).
Meanwhile, even though Virgin Valley scored an imposing 68 points on Tuesday, Sports Leadership & Management still came out on top. Sports Leadership & Management slipped by Virgin Valley 69-68. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sports Leadership & Management.
Andre Cade was his usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with six rebounds and two steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Tomlin, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Doral Academy Red Rock bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.
Doral Academy Red Rock was dealt a bruising 96-65 defeat at the hands of Sports Leadership & Management in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Doral Academy Red Rock avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
