Valley Christian extended their  winning streak to seven games  thanks to a huge performance from  Ansley Venkatesh. The Trojans were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Apache Junction Prospectors on Monday with plenty of help from  Venkatesh, who  had 28  assists and eight  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 13 or more in each of the last 28 games she's  played.
 One reason for the win was Valley Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7,  25-6.
Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 29-10. As for Apache Junction,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-17.
