The Hooper Bay Warriors entered their tilt with the Tikigaq Harpooners with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Hooper Bay simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Tikigaq 82-55 at home. Hooper Bay has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Carson Long, who scored 38 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Latrell Lake, who scored 19 points.
Hooper Bay pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for Tikigaq, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Hooper Bay will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Unalakleet at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Tikigaq does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
