Joey Motes Dazzles in Rocky Hill Win
Thanks in part to Joey Motes, Rocky Hill said goodbye to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Motes on Thursday as he rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 158 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Rocky Hill's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Motes and Rocky Hill will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tolland at 6:30 p.m. on October 18th.
