The Thomas Jefferson School Titan suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 61-28 defeat at the hands of Eagle Ridge Christian. Thomas Jefferson School found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post 12 fewer assists than your opponent.
Despite the loss, Thomas Jefferson School saw an underclassman step up: Owen Park scored six points along with two steals.
Eagle Ridge Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Simpson out in front who scored 16 points along with two steals. Simpson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Margrabe, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Thomas Jefferson School's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Thomas Jefferson School will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Classical Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Marquand-Zion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
