For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Thornton Fractional South and Blue Island Eisenhower have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Red Wolves came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Thornton Fractional South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-22.

Earehc' Hill paced Thornton Fractional South's offense, picking up eight kills. Hill got some help from Candace Irvin and her 17 assists.

Thornton Fractional South's victory bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.
