The Beaver Local Beavers will square off against the Toronto Red Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Beaver Local made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Indian Creek, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Beavers blew past the Redskins 12-3 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Beavers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Ciara Call was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Calleigh Eells was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tori Druschel, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Beaver Local was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .414 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Toronto, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They put the hurt on Heartland Christian with a sharp 26-2 victory on Thursday. The Red Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Like Beaver Local, Toronto also got a great game from a two-way player: Laney Danko. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, Danko is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaylee Brown, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. JJ Rebich was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Beaver Local's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Toronto, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Beaver Local has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Toronto struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Beaver Local suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Toronto in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
