Murrieta Valley can attribute much of their success to Brady Jones, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Parker Steffen was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Rancho Dominguez has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Murrieta Valley, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6.
Rancho Dominguez will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Pedro at 4:30 p.m. on January 10, 2024. Murrieta Valley will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Culver City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Culver City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 327 points over their last five contests.
