The Middletown South Eagles will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Union Farmers at 4:15 p.m. on February 13th. Middletown South knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Union likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Middletown South earned a 65-54 victory over Long Branch. Given Middletown South's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Long Branch is ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Union fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Oratory Prep by a score of 58-50 on Thursday.
Middletown South's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Union, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.
