There's no place like home for The Plainfield East Bengals, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They didn't even let Romeoville onto the board and left with a 26-0 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Plainfield East also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Plainfield East's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Romeoville, Plainfield South, and Plainfield Central. As for Romeoville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Plainfield East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Romeoville is also done with their season.
