The Shore Regional Blue Devils lost against the Freehold Township Patriots back in February of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Shore Regional fell to Freehold Township 47-43. Shore Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Conley Smolokoff, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Smolokoff also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Reese Fiore, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Shore Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Freehold Township, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Shore Regional will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Freehold Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
