Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for James Island, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They won by a  run and slipped past Fort Dorchester  4-3. The  win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
 Mary Davis Hancock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on six hits.
 At the plate, James Island's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Harper Billingsley, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run. Those  two  RBI gave  Billingsley a new career-high.
 Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for James Island, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
