The match between Benjamin Franklin and Lincoln Prep wasn't particularly close, with Benjamin Franklin falling 50-36. Benjamin Franklin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lincoln Prep apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on Thursday.
Benjamin Franklin lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jacey Blair, who scored seven points along with eight steals. Blair hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sage Mortensen, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Benjamin Franklin's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Lincoln Prep, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing San Tan Foothills the next time they take the court. Benjamin Franklin will host San Tan Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Lincoln Prep will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
