They took their match at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 72-45 win over Golden City. Given Dadeville's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Golden City is ranked 391st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamison Menadue, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Spencer Parrill was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Dadeville pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Golden City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Dadeville will head out on the road to face off against Fair Play at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Golden City, they will be playing at home against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
