Russell County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Knox Central on Friday at 7:30 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Russell County simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Adair County 43-7. The success made it back-to-back wins for Russell County.
Meanwhile, Knox Central were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Green County to the tune of 36-0. Followers of Knox Central probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Knox Central and Russell County will really light up the scoreboard.
