The Everett Seagulls are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Lower Merion Aces at 10:30 a.m. on December 30th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Everett didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Olympia, but they still walked away with a 54-50 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given Everett's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Olympia is ranked 19th).
It was another big night for Isaiah White, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Bloomfield, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Lower Merion put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Lincoln by a score of 94-85. Lower Merion's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Everett is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Lower Merion, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
