Orangeburg Prep entered their tilt with Patrick Henry Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Patriots 11-4. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Bryson Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Tilden Riley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Morrison Burroughs, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Orangeburg Prep's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Orangeburg Prep will host Branchville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patrick Henry Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
