Several Firebirds players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Hawkins, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Logan Crabtree, who scored 16 points.
Falls Lake has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Vance Charter, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.
Falls Lake will play host again and welcome Raleigh Charter, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Raleigh Charter is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Vance Charter is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Excelsior Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
