Pittsfield is 2-8 against Wahconah Regional since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Pittsfield suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of Agawam by a score of 67-64. Pittsfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pat Brennan put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 21 points. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makai Shepardson, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Wahconah Regional had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three two weeks ago. They wrapped up 2023 with a 62-47 victory over Greenfield. That's two games straight that Wahconah Regional has won by exactly 15 points.
Pittsfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Wahconah Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
