With a playoff win on the line, Springboro rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They beat the Springfield Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Springboro is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Springfield, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-19-1.
