Parker came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wenonah Dragons 14-6. The Thundering Herd might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

Chelsea Ware was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs but no hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.

In other batting news, Alyssia Buckhana and Brooke Moss did most of the damage at the plate: Buckhana fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2, while Moss went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits Moss has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kamila Dabney, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Parker pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Wenonah, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Minor at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st. Minor has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.14 runs per game on average), something Parker will no doubt try to take advantage of. Wenonah also won't see the field for a while: their next game is against Northside at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st.
