The biggest upset of the week belonged to South Hunterdon, who took down 283rd ranked Roselle Park, 19-9. Robert Albanir ran for 85 yards and caught one passes for 17 yards in the win.
Garry Roach of Bound Brook ran for the longest rushing play in Mid-State 38 - Hills this season against Pingry last week. Roach scampered for 80 yards on the play and finished with 89 on the day as his team beat the Big Blue.
Bound Brook's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jalen Wheeler threw for 406 and three touchdowns and Isaiah Williams had 205 yards receiving. Justin Foster helped Bound Brook's passing attack out by catching six balls for 145 yards.
Bound Brook's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Crusaders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wheeler has thrown for 714 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Williams has 13 catches for 329 yards. Michael Johnson leads the league in rushing with 283 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on the Crusaders. Roselle Park is in third place, while Bound Brook is in first place.
The Eagles were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in Mid-State 38 - Hills. South Hunterdon beat the Panthers 19-9 earlier in the week.
