Softball Recap: St. Bonaventure Has No Trouble Against Foothill Tech

St. Bonaventure was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Foothill Tech on Thursday. The Seraphs were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Dragons. The Seraphs haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Hallie Barlow was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leea Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

St. Bonaventure always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Foothill Tech only posted an OBP of .385.

St. Bonaventure's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Foothill Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

St. Bonaventure will head out to take on Dos Pueblos at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seraphs are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Foothill Tech, they have already played their next contest, a 14-9 victory against Calabasas on the 2nd.
