The Brookwood Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jackson-Olin Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Brookwood will be strutting in after a win while Jackson-Olin will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Brookwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Bessemer City, taking the game 37-25. The victory was just what Brookwood needed coming off of a 52-30 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Jackson-Olin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Minor on the road and fell 60-30. Jackson-Olin has not had much luck with Minor recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Jackson-Olin, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-9.
