Piedmont Hills had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Westmont Warriors on Wednesday as the Piedmont Hills Pirates made off with a 7-0 win. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.
Alicia Valladarez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
