After flying high against the Curry Yellowjackets on Monday, the Addison Bulldogs came back down to earth. Addison was beaten by Vinemont 65-33 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Addison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while Vinemont is ranked 97th).
Vinemont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reagan Robinson, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five assists. The game was Robinson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitney Quick, who scored nine points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Addison's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-11. As for Vinemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
