The Phoenix Spartans can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by First Baptist Christian at home to the tune of 66-36. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-18.
Phoenix's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from KALAN BUSH, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points BUSH has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of DERVONTE ANCAR, who scored 11 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Phoenix and bumps their season record up to 11-14. As for First Baptist Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Phoenix will be playing at home against Jehovah-Jireh at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Jehovah-Jireh has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. First Baptist Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
