The Benjamin Mustangs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Harrold on the road to the tune of 69-6. Fans of Benjamin have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Grayson Rigdon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 203 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Rigdon is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Keegan Hayes made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Benjamin's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. As for Harrold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chillicothe the next time they take the field. Benjamin will host Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Harrold will host them at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
