Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Franklin County Tech were a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 64-24 loss at the hands of Frontier Regional. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Franklin County Tech has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kaitlin Trudeau, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayleigh Burgh, who scored five points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Franklin County Tech struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
The win got Athol back to even at 1-1. As for Franklin County Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
