The Triangle Math & Science Tigers can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by River Mill at home to the tune of 61-29. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-18.
Triangle Math & Science had a senior duo take command as Samrita Sriram scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and five assists and Leanna Nohs almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. Sriram has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 19 times she's played.
Triangle Math & Science has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for River Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triangle Math & Science will square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chatham Charter is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games. As for River Mill, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
