Yes Prep Southeast scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yes Prep Southside Giants.

Despite the loss, Yes Prep Southeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Giovanni Ramirez posted 13 points along with five boards and three steals. Ezekiel Moreno was another key player, putting up four points and eight rebounds.

Yes Prep Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Yes Prep Southside, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
