Trevor Schnirel made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Carver A&T's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 5-7 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Carver A&T got a massive performance out of Mason Wehrheim, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
