The Catholic Central Sabers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. Everything went their way against Crossroads Charter Academy as Catholic Central made off with a 49-23 victory. The win was just what Catholic Central needed coming off of a 64-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Catholic Central's win ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home.
Catholic Central will take on Grand Traverse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Michigan (Grand Traverse Academy is ranked 742nd, while Catholic Central is ranked 726th). As for Crossroads Charter Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Holton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Holton has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11.
