Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Woodlands Christian Academy). They blew past the St. John's Mavericks 85-65 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Despite the defeat, St. John's had strong showings from Sebastian Williams-Adams, who went 8 of 13 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds, and Malachi Booker, who posted 20 points. Booker's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Teo Nelson, who put up nine points and five rebounds.

The win was the third in a row for The Woodlands Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for St. John's, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-5.

The Woodlands Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-54 victory against St. Francis Episcopal on the 7th. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-59 defeat against Prep Student Academic Training Academy National on the 7th.
