After flying high against the Garfield Rams on Thursday, the GlenOak Golden Eagles came back down to earth. GlenOak fell to Brecksville-Broadview Heights 42-37.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights' win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jessie Zenir, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was Zenir's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelyn Rahe, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
GlenOak's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GlenOak will take on Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than GlenOak in Ohio (Lake is ranked 21st, while GlenOak is ranked 303rd). As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nordonia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
