It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Waltrip Rams can now relate to. They were dealt a 59-19 defeat at the hands of Fulshear on Thursday. Waltrip was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-6.
When it comes to explaining why Waltrip lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaylen Middleton. Despite the final result, he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Middleton was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
Waltrip now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Fulshear, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Waltrip does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fulshear also has no future games currently scheduled.
