Delta Streets Academy extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a blow against the Columbus Christian Academy rams, falling 66-38. On the bright side, the 38- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for Columbus Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Matthew Benge continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 198 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 182 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. Benge is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Imonn Hill was Benge's top target, picking up one receiving yards.

Delta Streets Academy and Columbus Christian Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Lions will take on rival Delta Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Columbus Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Kemper Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
