The Blackduck Drakes will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on February 1st.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-24, which was the final score in Blackduck's tilt against the Green Wave on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Blackduck has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Sebeka 76-59. The win made it back-to-back wins for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley.
Blackduck dropped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.
Blackduck came up short against the Wolves when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 67-59. Can Blackduck avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
