2A/1A Conference 17 recap December 3, 2013
Wallace-Rose Hill scaled the state rankings by moving to 86 from 125 this week, the biggest jump in 2A/1A Conference 17. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of beating Tarboro 35-10.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Wallace-Rose Hill beat the Vikings 35-10. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, West Bladen's Colby Lewis and Malcolm Vaught have proven to be a lethal combination. Lewis has thrown for 611 yards this season, while Vaught has 17 catches for 216 yards. Dezmond Faison from Union leads the league in rushing with 1,689 yards.
The Bulldogs took down Tarboro 35-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
