The Belleview Rattlers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 51-38 victory over Mount Dora. The victory was nothing new for Belleview as they're now sitting on three straight.
Aaliyah Armbrister continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 19 rebounds. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for her. Albanis Mogollon was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Belleview pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Mount Dora, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belleview will challenge North Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Marion is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Mount Dora won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Legacy Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Legacy Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 36 two weeks ago.
