Providence Classical Christian entered their game against Trinity Prep on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Providence Classical Christian Warriors took a 73-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trinity Prep Lions. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Trinity Prep was led to victory by Beau Blocker and Gerald Layne. Blocker posted 26 points, while Layne went 7 of 12 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. The matchup was Blocker's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Barnes, who put up nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence Classical Christian and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Trinity Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Providence Classical Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-45 loss against Milledgeville Prep on the 13th. As for Trinity Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-52 victory against Faith Christian Academy on the 13th.
